Ok, I have been slightly obsessed with rings lately. If you're like me, who doesn't like to wear necklaces and bracelets that often, rings are so easy to slip on and go... effortless style!

I like BIG, bold, CHUNKY rings. Double rings are cool too- even though you can't move your fingers freely!
Here are some of my recent favourites!
Image 1 of ASOS Double Spike Through Finger Ring
This ring is so cool! This is what it looks like on someone:
Image 3 of ASOS Double Spike Through Finger Ring
It looks like it could do some damage :P
Love 2 Finger Ring
An ultra-cute double finger ring! I love rings with words or slogans on them.

Wise Owl Ring
How adorable is this owl?!?!
ASOS Ring with Metal Moustache
I just had to include this moustache! More 'fun' than 'stylish' though!

Let me know which one is your favourite!
P.S: Sorry for being gone for so long!

NOTD- OPI Lincoln Park After Dark DUPE!

Hi dolls!

I have posted about this before but I've found a dupe for OPI's very famous Lincoln Park After Dark! But this time I'm going to be actually showing you the comparision- see for yourself! =]

OPI's Lincoln Park After Dark
Rimmel's Deliciously Dark
To be honest it does really depend on the picture, when it's taken in natural light, both colours look lighter (like a very dark plum). However when there's no light my nails look BLACK. Seriously, these polishes are not for the faint hearted!!

Here's a pic of my nails (Rimmel's Deliciously Dark) taken in artificial light:
*Excuse the crappy quality please!*
As you can see, in artificial light it's a lot lighter (more wearable).

Is it just me that thinks that nail polish colours such as black aren't very wearable?

How To Get Clear, Flawless Skin!

Everyone wants gorgeous, clear, flawless skin. Unfortunately, not all of us are born with it, so I've got 5 tips (and  I have made them DIFFERENT rather than your typical 'drink lots of water') to help you achieve better skin

  • Wash your hair away from your face. If you wash your hair towards your face, all the nasty oil, dirt and bacteria will land straight on your face!
  • Wash your face twice a day- NIGHT TIME especially well because your skin cells renew at night. You do not want them to renew when your face is dirty.
  • Avoid touching your face at all!
  • Change your pillowcases regularly! This is so the oil/dirt/products from your hair will not get on your face.
  • Exfoliate your face once in a while to remove dead skin cells. DO NOT over exfoliate your face as this is damaging to the skin!

Get ready to get gorgeous skin!

Some Really Pretty Eyeshadows!

Hey there! Gosh it's been ages hasn't it!

The other day I received some eyeshadows from Frontcover Cosmetics. I got 4 eyeshadows and a compact, which is £15- quite reasonable actually! You just put the eyeshadows you choose in the compact and wahla, your own custom made palette!

I chose (l-r) Azimuth, Twinkling Gold, Baked Bronze and Bougainvillea. All really pretty shades!

Here's a picture of the palette and its contents (quite small but fits all 4 of the eyeshadows snugly)

It comes with an actual eyeshadow brush rather than those rubbish sponge tip applicators.Yay! It's double sided, one side is for lid colour and the other is for crease colour (well that's what I use it for anyway!) There's a mirror too, very handy.

Here are swatches of the four shades (l-r): Azimuth, Twinkling Gold, Baked Bronze and Bougainvillea.

I have to say that they do need a few layers to reach their full potential, but those few extra minutes can make a big difference in the vibrancy of the colour.
There's a total of 25 shades to choose from which means there are thousands of combinations.

You can buy Frontcover eyeshadows (and the rest of their product line) here.
Which shade is your favourite?
Disclaimer: I am not afilliated with Frontcover Cosmetics. The products were given to me for review purposes. My opinions are not influenced in anyway and I am not being paid by showing these products.

The Beauty Would You Rather Tag 2011

Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eye shadows?
I'd rather lose all my palettes and eyeshadows! I never wear eyeshadow anyway! What a easy decision ;)

Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
Never be able to cut it again. I've always had long hair! Well, not always, but for a good 5 years at least! Plus, I always have my hair up and I can't tie up no hair can I?!

Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
Coral, definitely. Pink just makes me look embarrassed :P

If you had $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
Clothes- because to be honest I have a lot of makeup already and hardly use it.

Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner or eyeliner as lipstick?
Um... neither? Oh alright then, I'd rather wear eyeliner as lipstick because lipstick is too thick to be eyeliner!

Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?

I'm not in the USA, so moving on to the next one...

Would you rather use only one eyeshadow color or one lip color the rest of your life?

One eyeshadow colour, because as I said before, I never wear eyeshadow! I do like to change up my lipstick/lipgloss though :)

Would you rather wear winter clothes in the summer or summer clothes in the winter?
Winter clothes in Summer! I'd freeze to death in Summer clothes in Winter!

Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
Bright nails all year round! They cheer me up in Winter and look gorgeous in Summer :)

Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a pony tail or a messy bun?
Messy bun. Ponytails are so boring!

Would you rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?
I would rather never be able to use lipgloss again. There's always lipbalm and lipstick! (Hang on, is that allowed?)

Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all? Or sharpie them in everyday?
Eww. Uhh. I NEED eyebrows so I'd rather sharpie them in everyday! (But how gross would that look?)

Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
I would rather live without nail polish! Makeup is not as fun and 'allowing' as nail polish! I mean, you can wear

a bright yellow on your nails and get away with that but bright yellow lipstick? :O

Anyone can do this tag! If you do, let me know! I'd love to read everyone's take on this tag =D

NOTD- at the salon!

The other day I got my nails done. I chose a really bright red colour which is actually the first time EVER I've worn that sort of colour (never worn red or orange before).

What do you think? I quite like it actually ( ^_^)
Another pic:

Personally I don't think that there was much point getting my nails done at the salon, it's a bit of a waste of money when I can probably do the same job at home ^^

OPI Lincoln Park After Dark dupe!

I've been eyeing up one of OPI's most famous nail polishes for a while now- Lincoln Park After Dark. Here's a pic of it:
Opi Lincoln Park After Dark Nail Lacquer
But come on, it's quite expensive for a nail polish. So I was really excited when I saw the nail polish below- Rimmel's Deliciously Dark! It's so much cheaper and is practically the same colour, don't you think?
I can't do swatches because I don't own the OPI one, but from the looks of things they look pretty much alike! I also checked on the internet and it seems like the Rimmel one is an exact dupe.

Question of the day: What's your favourite nail polish colour?
Comment below with your answers, I'd love to hear what colours you like to wear on your nails xD

My 5 Favourite Necklaces!

Hey guys!
Today I wanted to show you 5 of my favourite necklaces.

Let me see if I can remember where I got them from. Hmm, I think:
1. Claire's
2 & 3 (as a set). Superdrug
4. Claire's
5. A random jewellery stand

My fave (well, faves) are 2 & 3. They are gorgeous. Perfect to wear together or separately, knotted or looped.
You can probably tell that I like long necklaces. Yeah, short ones strangle me.

Which necklace is your fave? And what type of necklaces are your favourite type to wear?

Lots of love,

Crazy Cool Nails!

I like to be unique. Well, not crazily unique but unique enough, if you get what I mean? That's why I don't do boring Barbie Pink like most other girls.
Normally, I don't go overboard, I just paint my nails a funky colour like a bright yellow or do a simple nail art like my last post
But today I've done something kind of hmm, different. Let me know what you think!
First & second finger in blue, second finger with Barry M Instant Nail Effects on top
What's your favourite colour to paint your nails, and do you do anything unique to them?

SUPER EASY nail art!

Hellloooo! I'm so excited to show you guys this.

This was on my left hand, so excuse it if it looks a bit messy! I was taking the pic with my right hand ^.^

Here's the finished look!

  1. Paint the half of your nails black diagonally. Use tape if you don't have steady hands!
  2. Grab a white nail art polish and make dots, around 8-10. If you don't have a white nail art polish use a toothpick and white nail polish.
  3. Where the black polish ends, draw a straight line diagonally in silver nail polish. Again, I used a silver nail art polish.
That's it!

Hey girls! I figured that since you all don't really know much about me I'll do a tag. Hope you like it! Oh, and don't forget to follow if you haven't done so already ;)

How I scrunch my hair! + I got an award!!!

I got an award! From the lovely Holly
The Liebster Award is designed to bring well deserved additional recognition to those bloggers with less than 300 followers. If you receive the award you link back to the blogger that nominated you and nominate 3 more blogs.
I decided to chose 3 blogs that I discovered recently..
My awards go to:

Moving on to part 2 of the post- scrunching hair!:

Everyone scrunches their hair differently, so I thought I'd share mine with you guys. It's an overnight process and requires styling in the morning, but you don't need to do the overnight part. That's just for more defined curls :)

The Overnight Part #1
It's simple, braid damp hair into 2/3/4 chunky braids before bed. Since I want looser waves, instead of super tight curls (almost like crimps) I do 2 braids.

In The Morning #2
1. If your hair is still slightly damp, great, but if not, just spritz some water.
2. Get your hands on some mousse. Any kind works fine!
3. Bend your head upside down, and scrunch using the mousse. Scrunch for at least 2 minutes!
4. Lift your head back up and scrunch the front, using another blob of mousse.

That's it, you're done! You will probably end up with curls/waves like this:
Thank you everyone, for commenting and following! xo

Creating an Outfit from my Favourite Clothes!

Hey! I've found some pieces of clothing which I really like. I thought I'll make it into an outfit and show you :)

Blue Pleated Bow Belted Playsuit
This actually isn't a dress, it's a playsuit :) I hate dresses, they're so annoying!

Grey (Grey) Canvas Pump Wedge | 216207904 | New Look
New Look
I wouldn't actually wear these in public... well maybe I would. They're so cool xD
For a less crazy brave look, I would wear these:
Aah, that's more like it. <sighs with relief>
Image 1 of ASOS Grey Feather Clutch
This clutch is soooo cute- I just hope they're not real feathers :o

For this outfit, I'd probably do my hair really laid back, something like loose waves :)
Makeup wise, well, not much. Subtle is key!

Anyway, let me know which clothing item you liked the most. Mine is the clutch!
EDIT: This post previously got deleted, and so did the comments. The post has reappeared but the comments are lost :( Hopefully they'll come back, but new comments WILL show up so please comment! xD
